Baseball + Softball Development · South Georgia
Serious athlete development built around purposeful training, preparation, accountability, adjustment, and competition.
Led by experience
The game exposes mistakes, pressure, adversity, and failure. Development is learning how to respond, adjust, prepare, and keep moving forward.
Failure is feedback. Learn from it fast and move forward.
Fix the right thing, not just anything. Every change has a reason.
Big moments are won in small daily work. Show up every day.
Pressure tests your preparation. Stay calm and trust the work.
Not just mechanics. , , consistency, accountability, confidence, and the to meet the next moment.
Steven Williams is a South Georgia native and former standout at Deerfield-Windsor. He played at Auburn University — where he wore No. 41 — and played professionally in the Washington Nationals organization. He trained in the same building that is now home to Forty-One Training, and he came back to develop the next generation of baseball and softball athletes: skill, confidence, discipline, and the preparation to compete at higher levels.
“Where you start doesn’t decide how far you can go. How you , , and does.”
Every rep has a purpose. Baseball and softball players train the areas their game demands — mechanics, consistency, preparation, and trajectory.
Swing, throw, and move with intent.
Why: Inefficient movement breaks down under pressure and limits how much power you can create.
Reps with feedback that hold up under pressure.
Why: One good swing means nothing if the next one cannot repeat it.
Inside the cages
Ready for the season, the next level, and the next at-bat.
Why: The game moves faster than practice, and readiness closes the gap.
Visual reference for ball flight and outcomes.
Why: Seeing the result turns guessing into adjustment.

Led by an owner whose playing journey reached Auburn University and professional baseball.
Built by someone who understands what it means to develop as an athlete from this area.
A development environment created for athletes across both sports.
Training positioned around learning, repetition, adjustment and preparation.
Steven has spoken about baseball teaching athletes how to respond to adversity and failure — lessons that carry well beyond the field.

HitTrax is a batted-ball tracking system built for indoor cages — and it's in the building at Forty-One Training. Here's what it adds to every development session.
A camera-and-radar system that sits in the cage and measures what actually happens when bat meets ball. Instead of a coach and an athlete guessing whether a swing was better, the system reports how hard the ball was hit, at what angle, and where it would have landed on a real field.
A camera and radar unit mounted in the cage reads the ball the moment it comes off the bat — no sensors on the athlete or the bat.
Each batted ball is converted into measurable data: exit velocity, launch angle, distance and where it would have landed on a real field.
Numbers get paired with what the coach is seeing, so an adjustment can be proven instead of guessed at — then re-measured the next session.
